Across the United States, innovation districts are emerging in the downtown and midtown areas in multiple cities across the country. Cincinnati’s Uptown is characterized by several neighborhoods with world-class institutions that could serve as the catalyst for growth. Cities leaders are eagerly looking for ways to spur economic growth by creating physically compact, transit-accessible and tech-centered hubs that reward cooperation between these major companies and anchor institutions in an area. This project highlights ways in which to bring the innovation corridor into the future, transforming Uptown into a more desirable place to live, work, relax, and to become a citywide leader in innovation.
